FirstAppointment

During your first visit, Dr. Macedo and his team will spend quality time with you to assess your case and overall aesthetic goals. We want to understand your treatment needs and desired results to help you achieve your optimal smile. A series of specific photos are taken in a professional setting, along with custom digital impressions. Dr. Macedo then takes the digital impressions, photos, and information from your interview to create and design your new dream smile.

The best part about this unique step, along with our in-office lab, is that it allows Dr. Macedo to design a one-of-a-kind smile mock-up that you can see in your own mouth before treatment even begins. This is where your smile begins coming to life!

Second Appointment

You will return to “test drive” your smile mock-up. In the vast majority of the cases, Dr. Macedo places the mock-up of your new smile in your mouth without ever using a drill. We do this as not to disturb the structure or integrity of your teeth until you are completely satisfied with the new look of your smile.

Now that you see how beautiful your new smile can be, you can have the veneers prepped right away or return as soon as the next day to have the veneers prepped and the final digital impression and the prototype (temporary veneers) placed.

Upon approval of your new smile, we use our advanced technology and expertise to duplicate the pre-approval smile design. This additional step provides certainty that you will receive the exact, custom-made design you previously approved, reducing stress and eliminating guesswork.

The procedure is minimally invasive, with very little tooth preparation required. Dr. Macedo fabricates the temporaries himself to ensure that you leave this appointment looking better than when you first came in. Once the temporaries are in place, you are one step closer to your dream smile!

ThirdAppointment

During this final appointment, the temporary veneers are removed and replaced with your veneers. You will receive your new permanent, custom-made Macedo Smile.

One YearFollow-up

If treated properly, veneers should look and feel amazing for up to 15 years after their placement. Most patients forget they have them after 1-2 months because their facial muscles adapt to the new teeth. This helps to make the veneers look more natural than the day they were put in. Be sure to schedule a one-year follow-up appointment to assess your veneers' look and feel and maintain your dazzling results!
